Originally from Chicago, Laura graduated Magna Cum Laude from Marquette University in Milwaukee in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree. She completed her graduate studies with honors at Loyola University in Chicago in 2015. Laura is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and holds an additional certification in Advanced Diabetes Management from the American Association of Diabetes Educators.

Laura has extensive experience as an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner, working in both clinics and hospitals in Chicago and Las Vegas. Her career has predominantly focused on serving underserved and underprivileged communities. In Chicago, she was instrumental in launching an inpatient, Nurse Practitioner-led diabetes program that maintained blood sugar control in the hospital and facilitated seamless transitions to outpatient care.

In her free time, Laura enjoys exercising, cooking homemade meals, and spending quality time with her husband and French Bulldogs.
