Dr. Butler is a board-certified endocrinologist. She was born in Florida and completed her undergraduate degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Florida. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. After that she completed her Internal Medicine residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio where she also served as chief resident her final year. She then completed her Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism fellowship at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She moved to Houston in 2020 to be close to family. She practices general endocrinology with special interest in diabetes, thyroid ultrasound and biopsy, women’s health, and preventative medicine. She believes in staying up to date with the latest medical guidelines and prides herself on practicing evidence-based medicine. She believes in listening to her patients and developing tailored plans to best meet their medical needs.

In her “free time” Dr. Butler enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, going on walks, and retail therapy.
